Good day, my manifold have major hole on both side, the price tags on these bad boys are quite high (from canada) been looking at the classified and found these manifold for sale. My problem is i can only see the outsides. Part# 2469556 (Pic attached)70558256_2666376350260826_5151965850265190400_n.jpg70342278_1656576794477348_1336555674615676928_n.jpg

My current manifold is different part# see pics.69917744_495054091226679_2805610312923873280_n.jpg .

Is there additional concerns i should be looking?
Are the part# the same?
Seem one is Sierra, this one Osco.
This is like 1/4 of the price brand i would be paying around here.
Any advise would be appreciated.
thanks
Bob

Thanks Toonl,
From the picture alone how do you feel about buying these manifolds?
Its like site unseen just buying from the pictures.

It looks like there are two models of exhaust manifolds. One from 1966 to 1972 and one from 1973 to 1986. The casting number that you have in your picture is 6672 which is off of a
20 degree exhaust elbow according to this sheet.

Maybe this one will be bigger.
In short the ones you are thinking of buying look like the 1973-1986 risers to me, however the final decision is yours as you have to part with the cash.

I believe the manifold im trying to buy site unseen only picture would work. 6672 and 6677 are interchangeable. that was from an original quote from a store.
i have clearance if square type vs a log styles. im trying to buy used one and would be buying only from the pic shown in the start of this tread.
thanks again

I just looked at ours on our 1972 Uniflite 318s and the exhaust manifold casting number is the same as the one on your boat
(PLV1 6672) so that would indicate they are interchangeable. The only other consideration you might have is if the ones you are buying have been in salt water, which rusts them out. From the picture if it's current they look fine. Good luck.

With a 1973 engine it sounds like you have a pre-blister boat. The Unifiltes are built extremely well and are worth fixing up. Enjoy.
