i have a volvo penta four winns with a cracked block..i want to know is there any other engines that i could swap out with
 
Nope,.... You need another 3.0l,....

Any other motor will require a gear ratio change in the drive,.....

As Bill said, you'll need another GM 3.0L , of which would be an easy replacement.

If you are wanting more power, you could install a 5.0L (along with all of the necessary changes and components) and would also need to change the drive reduction.

If so, find out if the hull is rated for a larger engine, and what the MAX hp would be for the hull.
