Cam follower remove and replace

I have a 1984 15 hp Johnson (J15RCRM) that has a flat spot worn into the cam follower roller. I have a replacement but I'm not sure how to remove the old one. I can't see any c clips or screws.

Thanks in advance for your help!
 
I just bought a 1975 Evinrude 25 hp and was told I need to change the cam follower roller as well. The guy at the boat repair shop said I should be able to do it myself, yes or no?
