Honda 225 Power Curve question

Curious if the power curve on my 2005 225 can be adjusted. Instead of kicking in around 4300-4500 rpm can it be made to kick in around 3800-4000 rpm? I have changed props several times and I currently have a 15 5/8 x 11 which does well til it hits about 4000 rpm then takes a few more seconds to hit the curve to finish planing the boat. If i have a full tank and 4 people on board it takes a little longer to hot the curve to get it to plan. Regardless of trim tab use or not. Just curious.
 
No you can't change it without trying to source a remappable ecm. The power kich you're getting is from the variable valve timing kicking in at 4200rpm
 
I have found a smaller diameter is better in situations when you're under powered. Have you tried a 14.5 × 15 ?
