1987 Mercruiser 2.5 help! (Long post)

Mine is not a 350 tho. 2.5 153.
 
I see,
What ignition?
Points (single tower coil) distributor cap with 4 spark plug wire terminals and a center coil wire terminal?
Electronic (4 tower coil) distributor has a flat cap and no spark plug wires going to it?
