Constant Alarm

Had the boat out today and it was running fine. Suddenly the alarm started to go off. I shut down for a little while and turned the key. Beep, beep, beep! There went the alarm. Tested it a few times, same result. We came home and I tried the key again, beep, beep, beep, so I know it’s not overheating. Any ideas? By the way, it’s a 90hp Mariner.
 
i had a similar issue on a 90 hp mercury i found it to be the temp sensors were faulty i changed both of those and solved the constant alarm.
