What kind of engine is this?

This engine is in a Fisher 34 pilothouse ketch. It is reported to have been imported from England, maybe 10 years ago.

[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif][FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]I found the data plate, it's a Ford FSD 425, 2.49 L, Serial No/Date D1789/14 ST, Build No H B00 20A 0QA, Special Equipment 1. (The stamping is not perfect, the characters may not all be correct).
