Hi everyone , first off I am new here and basically know very little. Hoping to learn. I have a 9.8 hp mercury merc 110 kiekhaefer mercury lightning ignition. Serial # 2620327. I'm trying to learn the year and to find out where the impeller is located. Thanks any advice is greatly appreciated.
 
Looks to be a 1969 model.----The water pump sits on top of the lower unit ( gearcase ).----Just remove 2 nuts ( 1/2 socket and 9/16" wrench ) to have a look at the pump.-----Your motor has red stripes / decals ?
