Have a E30RCCE which is the info on the power head plug.It is a long shaft outboard. The tag on the clamp is scraped almost completely off so I cannot get any info from that.Does the power head plug usually show if it is a long shaft since the power heads could go on either one?

The CC tells me that it is a 1988 model.----The powerhead plug indicates SHORT SHAFT.----But post some pictures of the motor and the midsection / exhaust housing.---Many here can instantly identify a long shaft motor.

thanks..30hp1.jpg30hp2.jpgI had thought it may have started life as a short shaft and was converted or the original power head was replaced with a head from a short shaft to a long shaft motor. As you can see it has the extention pc on it.
