I had and carb issue I thought so put a rebuild kit in it replaced fuel pump new oem hose and bulb brand new tank replaced all hoses and it idles fine as you start to raise the rpms. At about 3/4 throttle it started to sputter and shuts off. I’m not sure what to do now. Any suggestions. Thinking about checking fly wheel key anyone ever had this issue
 
It probably would not start and idle well if key is sheared. Did you check the high speed jet, deep in the hole behind the hex drain plug? It must be absolutely clean. But it's a precision part so don't go reaming it out with drills, etc
