03 F80 TLRB Carb pickup timing help

Good morning!

My brother has an 03 f80 that had a stuck float and had to be opened. When he re assembled the Carb pickup timing linkage was backed out. Can anyone point me in the right direction of returning to near factory? I have a correct service manual but the one in the manual is completely different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What manual do you have? What is the ID?

That is the correct manual. Page 3-5 depicts the check, and if needed, the adjustment procedure.

Are you saying that the illustration in the manual does not agree with what the motor looks like?

Yea the accelerator cam looks totally different. There's no visible markings to align either.

What is the complete ID of the motor? It will begin with the number 6.
