12V to Primer when switch is in run?

I have checked the switch wiring over and over again, I have a spare harness and switch, same thing.

I have 12V to the primer wire when the switch is in Run without the key being pressed in.

I have checked both switches with the multi meter and there is zero continuity across the pins when the key is not pressed, and zero ohms resistance when pressed, so the switches are OK.

How can I have 12V constant to the primer ?

Thanks for reading.

You don't say which pins (lettered terminals) have zero continuity... That would help, but i assume you're speaking of pin B and pin C?

What color wire is attached to the fuel primer solenoid?
What color wire is attached to the ignition switch "C" terminal?

Looks like Purple/White to C. and (also) to solenoid. Thanks

Yeah, that's the correct wiring setup. If you have 12v being applied to the primer solenoid without the key being pressed in... that indicates a internally shorted ignition switch.
