i am having trouble keeping my 30 hp Johnson running. Last year, I cleaned and tested my fuel solenoid as it wouldnt start. It worked, and the motor ran. As I went to use the boat, of course it wouldn't stay running. Now I am still trying to get it running properly. I can hear the solenoid engage when turning the key. The motor starts, however it runs for a few seconds, then dies. If I turn the bypass it runs and idles without an issue. I'm not sure what's next to try to solve the issue.
