1980 BF100 CDI module

Does anyone know of a way to replace the CDI module on this engine? Any unit from other engine that might work ? The part is obsolete and unavailable from Honda Marine. I just bought this on CL as a good running engine the CDI module is missing. I'd really appreciate some help.
 
Item 10 in the link below (obsolete) is likely what your missing CDI looked like.

Item 9 in the link below (available $177) is for a 1997 8hp model. I cannot guarantee that it will "plug and play" with your motor.

That's as close as I can get. Again, I have NOT tried doing this "swap" and cannot guarantee that it will work with your older 10 hp. even though the part numbers are very similar.
