i have acquired a
70 hp johnson engine and boat that has been setting for several years so i pulled the lower end down to replace the water pump and seals. after reinstalling and running it i noticed no water coming from the exhaust. but the engine stays cool-and exhaust housing gets very hot so i shut it off.i am thinking that some mud dobbers got inside somewhere and pluged it up but i do not know the water flow thru the lower part of the engine. can anybody give me a water flow diagram of this engine or some information about where to look or where to start on this- thanks
