I just took my lower apart and my forward gear is missing a couple teeth. I cant find them which leads me to think they either got chopped up to bits or the previous owner (I just got the boat) found them and took them out and still used it with the missing teeth.
My question is: Is it safe to still run with a couple missing gear teeth? what could/would happen if i did?
