My solex carburettor is probaly broken engine will not tick over below 2000 rpm single carb on an AQ131b

Can you put fuel injection manifold of a 240 volvo estate.
Or can you put a side draft stromburg of a volvo estate.
Or is there any cheaper way than a weber 1000 doller conversion,
