'95 175 Warning Horn

I have a pair if recently purchased '95 Johnson 175's.
The warning horn on the starboard engine sounds normally momentarily when the key is switched on and I verified a constant horn when the tan wire from the temp switch from the head is shorted out.
The warning horn on the port engine sounds very weak when the key is turned on and sounds just as weak when the port temp sense wire is shorted and doesn't sound at all when the starboard sense wire is shorted.
I have an OEM service manual but it doesn't show the wiring or the horn which I believe is in the dash somewhere.
Can someone supply a wiring diagram of how the horn is wired?

Thanks.......

The horn wiring is quite simple...... Purple wire (12v) from "A" terminal of ignition switch to horn slide on terminal closest to ground wire, Tan wire from other horn slide on terminal to sensor at cylinder head.

Your problem indicates a failing squeaky horn.

Having difficulty finding a diagram of the wiring harness going from the motor to the dashboard.
I see a wiring diagram of the motor in the OEM service manual but nothing before the motor.

Any insight here?
