Fuel Pump Rebuild/Replacement 1968 Johnson 3hp JHL-23M

I need to fix/replace the fuel pump on my Johnson 3hp JHL-23M. According to the parts list a new fuel pump costs $120. Part # 0388684. Do they make rebuild kits for fuel pumps like they do for carburetors? Is there a different part # fuel pump that will work that doesn't cost so much? I'd like to get this engine back in running condition, but I don't want to put $120 into it if I don't have to.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to some good advice.

About the only thing that can go wrong is the diaphragm.----About $4.00 for it.-----Yes they are available.----Perhaps look for it on a MUCH, much newer( 1990 6 hp ) model with that wee square pump.

Just a followup if anyone is interested. I replaced just the pump diaphragm in the fuel pump, and I got the motor to run, but it didn't run well. I noticed when I was taking the fuel pump apart that the air-dome diaphragm was in rough shape so I replaced that just now. The motor is running pretty well now. Thanks for the help.
