Spark plug socket size.

Evinrude 50 hp socket plug wrench size . Model number E50pl4Ss. Does this stubborn engine take a special socket? Thin wall.? 18mm? 5/8? 9/16? Never in 35+ years have I had a plug so difficult to remove. This seem to be the item that gets you to bring it back to dealership, but I'm not replacement plugs call for Dcpr6e but that plug is using a 5/8 socket. I think these are factory original, I know sometime the original plugs are different than full scale production run.

Yep, Racer is right. My bad.

I didn't pay attention to the model number and was thinking he was asking about an old 2-stroke 50HP. The NGK plugs used in this engine were a different socket size than the Champion plugs.
