What is the unit on the cowl bracket that has a hose running to the intake manifold, and a single electrical wire running up to one of the points???...Rookie question, I know, But i'm restoring a 1956 Johnson 30 hp RD-18 that I found in a scrap yard....Also, is this part something that commonly wears out, or does it tend to survive??...If it commonly wears out, is it easy to find??
