Honda 225 surge issue

I have a Playcraft 2600 extreme with a Honda 225 with only 650 hours on it when I first got it the motor ran great would hit 5500 rpm’s and cruise along, over the last year a quickly progressing issue has caused it to now not go over 2000 rpm’s if I try it continually cuts out and will eventually die. I have changed the fuel pump, fuel filters and spark plugs. I have also flushed the fuel tanks and lines, if anyone has any ideas of why or what is causing this I would appreciate any help. It could be lots of different things. Try to provide more detail on the situation.

When you first turn on the key switch, are you getting two beeps which would indicate that your alarm is working?

Are you getting any alarms?

Does your green oil pressure light stay on when the engine starts acting up?

Have you tried pulling fault codes?

Do you have an external fuel/water separator filter installed, and have you drained it? When is the last time you changed that filter?
