perhaps better posted in diesel forum.however i was contemplating pulling my vp 5.0 ford fuel injected out and transplanting
my recently rebuilt kad44.
my boat is a 22ft cobalt.these were available with a 7.4liter gas witch weighed about a 150lbs less than the kad.so weight wont be a problem.
drive ratio may be a problem.currently has a dpc1 1.95 in it.would proping up to c7's take car of difference in gear ratio.
