Got a 1991 Yamaha 9.9 HP 4-Stroke that is not running. It was idle for years. Rebuilt the carb. It looks good. Electric Start. Compression is 125 PSI on both cylinders. Put in new plugs. Getting good spark using a spark tester. Motor will sputter but that is it. Timing marks are lined up. It sputters and backfires when I crank it over. Pulled the flywheel off and it is clean, no rust. When I shoot starter fluid into the carb does not help. CDI UNIT ?????
