Hi guys,

I have a 79 pacemaker 33 FB

twin crusader 454 engines. Im replacing rotted 3 in
wet exhaust hose coming from risers. When pulling off the old hose I noticed the exhaust Wye leaving the engine room is badly corrided. The wye is painted crusader blue. Crusader told me they only make a 3 inch in to a 4 inch out wye. And in there books going back to that year same thing nothing this large. I cant measure it 100 percent accurate without removing the large exhaust hose which most likely will need cutting to get off. Im guessing its 6-8 inches out. Does anyone know the size or where to get it or make it. Centek says they can custom make it but thats a fortune. Any thoughts. I have a pic but when i try and upload it uploads and nothing happens.
Thanks.

How about something like this...
1. Off the engine, use reversed reducers to get from 3" to 4". https://www.fisheriessupply.com/tri...cing-exhaust-bellows-blue-silicone-270v4030ss
2. Use a Wye that has 4" inlets and a 6" outlet. https://www.fisheriessupply.com/buck-algonquin-t-exhaust-collectors-40ec400600 or this https://www.fisheriessupply.com/centek-step-up-y-fittings-1200119
3. If necessary to step up from 6" to 8", use another reversed reducer. https://www.fisheriessupply.com/tri...cing-exhaust-bellows-blue-silicone-270v8060ss

I'd suggest using a fiberglass Y to replace a rotting cast iron Y.... usually, you can use a piece of cardboard to make a sizing gauge for the old parts....once you get over 3" OD, there's not a lot of variation....
