94 Crusader 350XL ticks at low RPM, can’t tell if motor or tranny.
Makes the noise at roughly 600 RPM up to 950 and then goes away above that.
Happens when in neutral and when in gear.
Mechanic has been on the boat and thinks it is related to counter rotation part of the transmission and thinks it’s nothing out of the ordinary.
I have a hard time buying into that theory.
Any ideas?
