independent Honda mechanic in central Jersey?

My 2004 BF225 seems to have a split but total broken timing belt. Honda dealers close to me are all booked fully till mid Aug. I am looking for recommendations on independent mechanic that can save at least a few weeks of the season..
Thanks.

Is the belt broken or not?

This is an interference engine. If the belt broke while running, there will be more damage then you will want to repair on a 15 year old outboard.

Sorry for the confusion, my guess is that the belt is split but not totally broke. I was running at 4000 rpm, the port engine suddenly dropped down to 3000 rpm, I pulled back to idle and then went forward but that engine still could not pass 3000rpm. So I shut it down and it would not restart. The engine turned over slowly, sound like a bad grounding. I went back to my slip and check the motor, I happened to pop the grommets on both timing belt cover; saw both pulleys turned while restarting engine, and then I saw debris of belt. Hopefully the belt is just split...
