Hello! New to the forum and seeking help.
What started off as a cracked engine block, we purchased a used engine which looks like its in great shape!
Things we did to the engine:
- Used old heads
- Used old distributor
- New rotor end cap
- New spark plugs
- New fuel pump
- Adjusted lifters
We believe we set TDC. However, the engine just keeps chugging away and will randomly backfire. We are struggling to get past this part and are looking for some help. Any input is greatly appreciated.
