Ive removed the tiller handle, gear & plastic/nylon twisted square peg. I have the remote kit my questions are does the remote throttle cable go thru where the stop button is? If so Id like to cut the wires to the kill switch and move it up to the control panel by the controls & stick steering with a new switch. Is this a good idea or not? The start switch Id like to use a new (older type) ford or lawn tractor starting solenoid and mount it close to battery and running a seprate wire & start button up front I'll be using the same guage wire as what the motor came with good idea or not? Any idea on what control box (used) to get? I'll be taking the control box apart and cleaning and lube. Rubbing alcohol or carb cleaner to use on control box? What about a special lube for the control box?
