I recently traded another boat I had for a pontoon boat that has a Suzuki DF60 on it. When I received the boat the console was removed for carpet replacement and I didn't get anything other than the remote controller (no gauges etc.). Once I put new carpet and the console on I hooked up the cable from the motor to the battery and cranked up the motor. It runs perfectly at full speed with no issues except...When you turn the key on, a solid steady alarm is coming from the remote and continues even when the motor is running? The motor continues to run at full speed with no visible issues. I looked in the manual and could not find anything on this? Any ideas from you Professionals? I still have several wires from the harness that obviously went to the console for various gauges and such and didn't know if several of these wires are actually needed?
