Hi All , first post here !
I'm running a 2006 F50 with about 500 hours on it - and for the first time went to change the block anodes (4 next to plugs & one seperate lower) . The boat lives out of the water & is flushed after running in sea water - so wasn't expecting any issue with corrosion really.. but ....
Of the 5 anodes 2 snapped off (which seems to be almost expeced on these anodes after a few years being in there) and ended up inside the water passages
...
Anyone done the same and what if any issue was there ? Cant find uch about it , but given the anodes are soft some sources say they will just break up & come out the prop cooling water / exhaust .
Anygot any real life experiance of the same thiing happening to them ?
