Hi all.
I've a Honda bf50 efi which is on a 20ft shetland boat.
I havnt had this from new.
Engine starts and runs ok and no warning lights.
Engine wont go above 3200rpm when in gear
I'm aware that the efi models should reach 5000-6000 rpm.
At 2000rpm I get approx 5knots and at 3200rpm 6.7knots
Engine currently has an 11 1/2 13pitch prop.
Throttle is maxed out and there is no room for anything more.
Even if I remove the throttle control rod and push throttle
At engine full I'm still not getting anymore than 3200rpm.
Any help is appreciated.
