Tilt Problems on a Johnson

Hey Guy's I've got a 1992 Cajun 178 with a 150 Johnson Fast Strike, but when I hook up the battery the trim is going up and the only way I can stop it is by pushing on the down trim it is a three wire system in the handle!!!!! Any Idea's

Make sure you don't have at switch at the bow of boat usually near the trolling motor plug stuck in the up position. Not that it ever happened to me :eek: and cost me hours of trouble shooting before finally finding it was a tackle box leaning against it.
 
Hey Thanks Guys for the replies, replaced the trim switch in the control handle didn't fix it switched the relays didn't fix it the Stupid Trim switch on the Motor Hosing was stuck, cut the wires to it no more problems just waiting on a new switch to come in. Hey Boobie I know how you feel on this cuz I could hear the switch working on the up side but the down side did nothing like being stuck!! don't make sense but all I know is that I can control the trim from my seat now!!!! Thanks A Bunch
