Thanks for letting me onto this forum.
I have purchased second hand a 2006 BF 50 Serial Number BAZS 3406056 and noticed that all 3 Idle Adjustment screws have
been broken off. Amongst the "bits" that came with the engine are 3 new screws and caps. I have now drilled and used an easy out to extract the old screws but am now at a loss to know how many turns out from light seating they need to be. I understand that the caps will need to be re installed with some loctite but obviously only after the idle screws have been adjusted.
The engine will run and idle with the screws out at both one turn and again at two turns out, but which is correct?
The only marks I can see on the top of the carb is "31E" then an "A" in a square box.
Can anyone help please?
