Hi,
My 2013 bf40 outboard engine stall when I run it for a long time on a big bucket with a hose running continues water after a while. I noticed it began when one time I did not notice that my water exhaust was clog because I did not use my engine for couple of months and there is no water coming out of the water outlet. That was after I run the engine for a long time. I did not run the engine for a year and a half and decided to run it first for a while before bringing my boat to the water again. I rev the engine on a high RPM and lower the RPM'S but it stall. I read that the VST issues. I run the engine again the after the next day and try to use a hose connected directly to the entry point of the bottom part of my engine. I run it for 44 minutes high RPM'S for 5 minutes, up and down RPM and no problem. My worry is when I go to the middle of the ocean and have same problem. Any help how can I fix the issue.
