Yamaha 90HP 1985 Corroded

Good day. My 1985 90HP Yamaha has these gaps on the cylinder block. Is there a way to fill them to ensure the gasket seals properly? Thanks In advance! Happy boating See link for photo below

Yes, with a new engine. These engines just rot away over time.

Put head on with a new gasket and run it another 20 years.

My answer pretty much covers it...New engine..... If you get it to seal up the cylinder head will have a hole in it shortly.

Easiest way out is not the correct way.

The metal ring will seal on the cast iron.----Then there are other ways to repair that.-----Machining a ring and shrinking it on.-----Or lumiweld , did a 55 HP Johnson 35 years ago using that material.
