So I have a 1997 7.4 liter OMC/Volvo Penta and need some
help. When I shift it in gear and start to take off out of the hole the engine just dies. And this weekend it ran so rough on the way back to the dock. This boat has sat for 5 years in a barn so to me it seems something is clogged up in the fuel line somewhere. Any ideas on where to start or what to do to trouble shoot things? It runs fine out of the water or in the water with no load on it but once load comes on it just dies. Any help would be appreciated.
