My Yamaha 30D is currently running on two Cylinders (not sure it matters but the top two). Having carried out the following, I have not managed to cure the problem:
The engine does not seem to be drawing in any air when running. I've read that it is common for the needle calve in the bottom carb can stick but from stripping the carbs this appeared to be moving freely with the float, so it is unlikely this is my problem.
I'd appreciate any advice for what to do next as I've run out of ideas!!
Thanks for looking
- Tested coils by swapping them around;
- Tested spark plugs by swapping them around;
- Cleaned the carbs;
- Compression tested the cylinders - all three the same.
