88 evenruide need help with over heating

Every thing seems to run okay
New water pump
New thermostats
New plugs
Starts right up

After 5 min of idel on a hose it over heats


The water coming out gose to steaming,hot.

Pulled the Idk correct term for them but the bolts on the top of the heads and have nice cool water there even when alarm,is going,off but the water coming,out is still steaming
 
Also... on a flushette, if so, water needs to be on full force.... in a test tank, trash can, whatever, water needs to be a few inches over the water pump assembly. The pump is NOT self priming... if above the water line, it'll draw air.

Model number of engine? Year, make, hp?
