On my 90hp v4 Johnson on serial # ID plate there is a "CE..followed by the #96...is this the yr of manufacturer ?

Well----The CE would make it an 89 model.------A 96 would have an ED in the model number.----Your location , N America or elsewhere ?

Just to clarify..the plate on the engine has...
model #
Serial #
And one more spot that says CE..then the # 96 in the space
Provided..i tried to upload a photo but in did not Load.
All good I found the code page and figured it out...thanks to all that have replied:cool:
