New (2011) Tohatsu MFS9 8A3 / electric start

I bought this brand new motor MFS9.8A3 the other day from a guy selling for a friend that passed away. It was purchased in 2011 and never had gas run through it. I was looking for advice of what I should watch for or what accessories I should add to keep it a well oil machine. Gas filter, hour meter, tack, etc.? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Depends on what you will use it for. It can be a remote or tiller, long, short, or ultra long. Electric models have alternator and regulator.
 
Pretty trouble free. You could install a tach, I suppose, if curious. Change oil and LU lube every 50 hours or once a year.
