Default Tempted to buy boat with '83 Suzuki DT115, compression 85-95psi. Mistake?

First visit to this forum. Thanks for reading, replying. Have no experience with outboards, am retiring a Mercruiser 120hp I/O boat, looking for inexpensive replacement, found a beautiful boat for a good price with this engine. Owner says it runs beautifully, rarely in salt water, entire boat (17' Bayliner) looks impeccably maintained. But does this low a compression suggest that the motor's on its last legs and will need rebuild/replacement soon? What's a ballpark estimate of what a boat shop might charge to renew a motor like this, if compression is the only issue? Thanks very much for any advice! I really appreciate it!

Test with another gauge.----You will be shocked at what it costs to overhaul that.-----If you can find a shop to take the project on.
