Yamaha 115hp V4 (1995)

Hi Folks,

I have just purchased a Yamaha 115hp. It did not come with any battery connectors for the starter motor.

I have some I can use but was not 100% on where the positive and negative should be connected.

Is no 1 in the attached photo positive and no 2 negative..?

The connection points are fully detailed in the applicable service manual. If you are doing maintenance on the motor shirley you have the service manual available to guide you.
