Need help with tilting mechanism

My husband and I purchased an '83 Bayliner Capri and we're restoring it. We are needing some guidance with the motor. A Force 85 Outboard. I have added photos. We would appreciate any guidance on this. Where do we start? Any parts that you can tell from the pictures that we need? We're at a loss here and can't find a local boat mechanic that can/will work on this model. Thanks!

Need closer pics.
Lift the motor and take pics of the underside.
Then pics of the front where the steering tube goes through the transom clamps.

The more pics the better.

Here's a link to the mid section and the parts needed.
 
I can't tell if you have a reverse latch/unlatch lever for manual tilt. Possible someone took the power tilt/trim? I can't imagine taking the manual tilt stuff unless the goal was to swap in power like I did for mine.
What I replaced my manual tilt with (except for transom brackets)....
