BF 130 - Vapor Separator Leak

I own a 1998 BF 130.

I drain the vapor separator each fall when I winterize the engine.

Every spring, as part of spring commissioning I siphon the old fuel from the tank, fill the tank with new fuel and stabil, replace all three fuel filters (external, internal - low pressure, and internal - high pressure), pump new fuel into the engine with the ball cock, and burn off the fogging oil.

For the first time I noticed fuel dripping from the vapor separator drain screw. The amount is not significant, yet it drips continually.

I replaced the drain screw and o-ring. The drip remains.

Has the separator's internal float failed?

Do I need to replace the entire separator?

Thanks in advance.

When you opened the seperator to change the filters did you forget an o-ring or maybe you pinched one. Does the drain bolt screw tight with the o-ring?

There is an o-ring on the drain screw. I replaced the screw, and the o-ring.

I have not taken the separator off the engine, or disassembled it.
