Volvo penta start stall 5.0 GXI-E

Volvo penta starts then stalls. Pumps both cycle at key up. Pressure climes, engine starts then stalls when pressure drops. Power probed pump and engine runs fine. Grounded pin J1-6 at EMM ( I think it's a MEFI IV) and pump runs. Am I missing something or is the EMM bad? Any help would be greatful.

Have 12v at pumps and relays etc... B+ comes directly from solenoid. Pump cycles at key up but doesn't pump when engine starts. As I stated , grounding J1-6 at EMM, pumps both run. Is there a different sensor, like OP or crank sensor that will stop pump if it thinks engine is not turning?
