2002 xr6, stumbles mid range through acceleration and has the same stumble on deceleration, idles fine and has top speed. i've always had a fluctuating tach, if you tap on the tach is moves. tech claims my tach is causing this issue, so he unhooked the tach. he claims after a dyno test and electrical test everything else is fine. will the tach malfunction really affect the performance? it didnt run bad before with the tach acting up? got any opinions?
