cracked block?

i have a 2016 6hp 4 stroke. i am getting a mix of water and oil through the breather tube into the intake silencer. the engine will run if i disconnect the breather tube from the intake, although fhe oil/water mixture sprays out. is this a cracked block or blown gasket somewhere?

MFS6C, Year is irrelevant. Is the crankcase over full? Is compression good? A blown head gasket could cause that.

the oil in the crankcase was almost empty and had quite a bit of water mixed with the oil when i drained it. i dont know the compression but seemed to be fine when i had to run the motor on my dinghy back to my sailboat. the mix of water and oil spraying out of the breather tube was pretty substantial, hence draining the oil in the crankcase. i didnt think these were symptoms of a blown head gasket but i guess thats a place to start. thanks!

If the oil was that low and yet you had significant crankcase pressure, you likely have either a ton of blowby from a ring, or a bad head gasket.
