40hp Honda Outboard steering help

Aloha!

Looking for help on repairing/replacing the steering on my boat. Having trouble finding the right part seen in the photos.

Theres a shaft that is rusted out and threads gone. Wondering if this part would come with a new manual steering kit or if it's something i need to find seperate.

Please bare with me, super new to outboards..

If you mean the tilt tube, it comes as an outboard specific part. Find your model on boats.net and then select the "stern bracket" diagram.
