" Just curious, on my 83 50hp Evinrude, at WOT I hit 4850 rpm's. That is the most I can get out of it. Should I run a smaller prop to get the rpm's over 5100 or 5200. I don't know the factory recommended WOT rpm's, so don't know if what I am getting is the max or if a smaller prop would help.
Any thought/idea's would be appreciated.
